Stay, stay awake
You can rest your head, your eyes
On the long way back, back east
Dare I to ask "will you wait there for me?"
It won't be too long
til the summer ends
And I will come back home and see you then
Wait, I will wait
Counting down the days I will long to return
to you and those eyes
The blue light reflecting and stretching the
whole sky...the color of my world
When the sun sets
In my mind I go back home to see you then
And now on the road, set out
Destination you, home bound
I'll be there..soon I'll be there
Beat down in the pale moonlight
I'll race the way all damn night
I'll be there…yes I'll be there
Sleep, just sleep
Here in my arms
As content as I ever could be
So just be
Happy, young, in love ..so lucky
It won't be too long
Til the sun creeps in
I will wake you up
And see you then

I remember when Growing In was released as a surprise, I was incredibly excited. And the way Ace passed it off as something he just whipped up really quick made me excited to just have a little something extra. But this album quickly became my favorite album of the year, and may even be my favorite album out of all of Ace's projects. christovix
