I slept on a bed made of chairs
never did I think to ever leave there
in a mess of wires, on sheets of white
you laid through the night
and I slept on a bed made of chairs
I walked for miles
pacing round the room
to keep my mind from going to
the darkest place I've ever been to
I've been here for hours
minutes they stretched on
and I never did before
but I prayed all day long
I've gotta get you outta here
I've gotta get you home
I slept on a bed made chairs
and i honestly have never been so scared
to see so much pain in your eyes
you put up a fight
I slept on a bed made of chairs
I made my way through a maze of concrete
hallways, grey and white
surrounded by the sound of machines
checking pulses, keeping time
when I saw you there
I broke down and cried
I slept on bed made of chairs
I held your hand and didn't think you knew
me there
but I promised you
for all my life
I'd never leave your side
So I slept on a bed made of chairs

I remember when Growing In was released as a surprise, I was incredibly excited. And the way Ace passed it off as something he just whipped up really quick made me excited to just have a little something extra. But this album quickly became my favorite album of the year, and may even be my favorite album out of all of Ace's projects. christovix
